Services for Viva Pearl Allison, 94, of Lubbock will be at 1 p.m. Satuday in First Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. John Donnerberg, pastor, officiating. The Rev. Pat Patterson, a retired minister, will assist.

Burial will be in the City of Lubbock Cemetery under direction of Sanders Funeral Home.

She died Thursday, June 11, 1998, at a daughter's residence.

She was born July 6, 1903, in Eden. She married Alvis Allison on June 8, 1919, in Los Lunas, N.M. He died May 20, 1959. They moved to Lubbock from New Mexico in 1924. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene.

She and her husband helped establish the Nazarene church in Littlefield.

She was a homemaker. An infant son, Joe Dudley, and a son, J. R. Allison, preceded her in death.

Survivors include two daughters, Tennie Gurturde "Gurty" Johnston and Oma Johnston, both of Lubbock; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to the Building Fund of First Church of the Nazarene.
